In this cruel world with people preying upon kids, there is no way I would let my child go out alone. Most kids stop trick or treating at 11-12 years. Our church as well as a lot of other churches here, have fall festivals for all the community kids to try to keep them safe. They play games, eat, and get candy. I like that better, I know they're safe
- Well, I guess it would depend on where you live. I am in a little town. and children do go out on their own. I did the same when I was young. but being in a big city. 'Yes, I think it would be a good idea to have an adult with them.
- Not on your life CL. Not with the teens that seem to be roaming about; and the various Offenders who have been freed by the system. Nope. Nay. Never.
- We do Halloween big at my place and try to show the kids how to have a safe, fun time, but I see a lot of things that go on that I wouldn't want my kid mixed up in. Kidnappng is only one of the many horror stories that could come out of an evening trick-or-treating.

- HiYa C Lady!!! I never let my children go alone and that was about 15 years ago! Not only for their safety, but I wouldn't give the memories away for nothing!! One year in MN we had a blizzard!! My kids walked and walked until they couldn't walk anymore!! Fun memories!
