- I usually eat at home on Saturday. That used to be our night to eat out. I have cut roller skating to once a week. I used to skate 3 times a week. I used to get lunch at McDonalds or KFC on shopping day. That's out.

- leave the money at home. old ppl like me are forgetful

My parents are bit nutty...we heat completely with wood, make salves out of wild plantain, gather eggs(until our chickens got eatan), don't have cable TV, only buy from thrift stores and items on sale in the store, and now we are re-using our dental floss. ... So...yeah, my parents are a bit of nuts. But our family of seven lives on way less then 35,000 a year. So it works.
We live in an older house that our grandparents own, but will soon consolidate houses to save money. We will live in a two story with plenty of bedrooms, but I don't know that there is enough room in one house for two families. I've heard that doesn't work so well, but we're gonna try it. With the economy the way it is I hear that a lot of kids are having to share homes with their families.
